e28S-3 Pottery Kiln

The e28S-3 features L&L's largest Easy-Fire diameter at 28 inches, giving you a wide-open firing chamber that accommodates oversized platters, large sculptural pieces, and wide-format work that simply won't fit in a 23" kiln. The short height keeps the overall profile manageable and makes loading easier when you're working with heavy or awkward pieces that need to be placed carefully on the bottom shelf. This is the perfect kiln for someone 5 foot 2 inches tall or less. Don’t be thrown off by this kiln's shorter height- it has as much firing space as the popular e23T-3 model, with a shorter height that makes loading a breeze.
Rated for cone 10 across all voltages, the e28S-3 gives you the confidence to fire cone 5-6 functional ware while having full high-fire capability when you need it. With a 28" interior, the e28S-3 uses 25-1/2" half-round shelves — the largest in the Easy-Fire series. That extra shelf real estate adds up fast when you're loading a bisque firing or trying to get a full set of dinner plates through in one load. The Genesis 2.0 controller with two-zone dynamic control keeps the wide chamber firing evenly.

NEMA 6-50 single phase or 15-50 three-phase 6-foot power cord included. There are two thermocouples. No charge for 3-phase versions. C-MET-us listed in the USA & Canada. Cone 10 for all voltages.
